Measure the goal opening height and width, the overall depth of the top shelf  and the depth of the base from the goal line back.

Special circumstances may included the 'Art Ross' style hockey goals (shaped like a 'B' when viewed overhead as opposed to a 'D'), rectangular top shelf corners and two center support bars.
